Ever since I enrolled my son here in Kerala, one thing I get to hear from him almost every other day is how he doesn't have any of his 'friends' around to play with him. Well it's true, all my cousins or their kids are either older than him or way too younger than him, even in the neighborhood that's the same scene.
Once this academic year started he has been talking non stop about his classmate who after a division change ended up in the same division who happens to be coming from the same locality and how they are sitting together in the school bus and everything else.. finally today his friend came in search of him to our house in the afternoon. As we were not in the house at that time, my father recieved him and informed him that Aagney will be back by evening..
When we reached home, Pappa welcomed us with a dairy milk silk Max pack which his friend had bought for him and conveyed how Agnu has started getting visitors these days.
To be honest I thought his friend might not come back in the evening to play with him and was preparing to console him but to my surprise..around 6 pm his friend turned up at our house in his Karate uniform probably after the training session..
As I'm penning this down, Im also listening to Agnu's description of how happy and overwhelmed he is and what he should gift his friend when he goes to meet him in his house..well as pappa remarked, today is definitely the day when Agnu started getting visitors..😊
