Fire or Hot Steam ??

This knowledge came to me as a bit of a surprise as it is not something which we will understand up until we face it exactly as it is. So, picturing it in our head to justify it is not even possible is what I would say.

Now if we consider both fire and hot steam, both of these can harm any living being. Now, is it possible to guess when exposed to either of these in same intensity and for same time which one of these will cause more damage ? It is hard to guess, at least for me it was very hard to guess when I got to know about it during my schooling days.

Consider fire, it only takes in oxygen. Even if the water vapor is present in air, the high temperature of fire breaks it down to hydrogen and oxygen, so mostly what I am saying is fire is dry and it takes in only oxygen and a combustible object to retain.

Consider hot steam, it is pure water but in air form which means it involves a phase change but it does not need any added oxygen nor combustible object to retain but it retains a very high temperature in that form.

Now, if you are put into a place and exposed to same amount of fire or hot steam in the same intensity for same time which one will cause more damage ?  The answer is hot steam.Why ? Fire even if it has high temperature, is dry and it can only affect the exposed area and a very small vicinity up until its widespread and for it to spread out it needs more air as well as a combustible object. But hot steam is pure water in air form so whatever temperature it carries is the exact temperature it would give out to the entire space it occupies so it increases the temperature of the entire exposed space and when an object is placed in hot steam, hot steam carries a latent heat of vaporization along with it so when vapor attempts to condensate directly on to the surface of any object it actually gives out a straight 100 degree celsius to that object in addition to the temperature it carries. I should say that temperature wise both might be more than 400 degree celsius. So if anything living is put into either of these, fire should actually take more time to cause the exact damage which hot steam can cause.

So if we take this phenomenon into our real life, lets consider 'direct and physical abuse or torture' as fire and 'lies along with manipulation' as hot steam, which option would anyone like to choose ?  Fire or Hot Steam ? Anyways both are going to harm but you would have to choose one; which one would you be up for ?

What I would say is, any person who wants to live their will by hiding things from others lacks integrity for sure. However, there are only two tactics they will follow to accomplish this;
  • Whenever their action or purpose gets questioned or appears to be exposed out, they physically torture or abuse the person who might question them to silence that person. - as in fire's direct burn
  • They lies or manipulates the other person to save the truth from being exposed. - as in hot steam's latent heat burn
So these are actually two parts of the same coin and what one should understand is there ain't any greatness or divinity in either of the tactics, both are eventually the same thing but carried out using different approach. But the ultimate aim is same in both the cases.

So when you have to face either of them, the truth is that the choice is not up to you. So you don't get to pick which method you want to get burnt but either way eventually you get burnt.

Why am I saying this ?  So if at all you get the power to choose, would you want to get burnt or not get burnt ? When you already know what is the outcome, why would you expose yourself either to fire or hot steam willingly ?  Ain't there a hidden third option of deciding to choose not to get burnt?

Luckily if some one gets to read this, I am sure it will make sense. So think about it and follow if it makes sense!!! And always understand this life you live is the most precious thing you hold. So, you are doing justice to your life only when you value yourself and your life. So, please decide and be obstinate about not getting burnt up until you live!!!😊
