Unit - II - Mathematics for AI

Week - 1:

Just done with the first session of week 1 of Unit II of Trimester 1.

prof. kinda summed up my entire 12 years of mathematics in school in 1 sess. ..wowzie zinger 🤾

Week-2 :

Just done with week 2 sessions..well, how do I put it ..,if week 1 was ebb and flow, this week for sure is nothing lesser than tsunami.. no wonder why assignments are scheduled for week 3 and thereon..

Addon:

Done with Academic Integrity module yesterday and also gave it's test yesterday itself. Yeah passed with flying colors. But more importantly, going through that module opened my eyes to a lot of things. Yes I come from a domain where even using someone else's ideas demands citation of the source and I'm thankful that I could go through it all yesterday..like., in a world when you are about to lose faith being able to reinstate principles, basics, decorum, etc. is the most amazing thing which can happen to a person..

By God's grace completed the first assignment.. This is quite an accomplishment considering how i lapsed out on my first unit. Last minute touches, scanning the manuscript, uploading to the portal and it will be done for better.. yayy🙂🙏

Math test abundance on Akshaya Tritiya be like..

And one thing I realised today.. i never had to be bothered by the mob mentality of the world because I always go by my objectives, stay strictly on my path and follow my own roadmap and no intention whatsoever to get there by using anyone else..but then there are also others who have learnt the hard way about the downsides of mob mentality to have become experts in how to manipulate and make use of the same.. i should have realised.. that was a function based on Game Theory basics with derivatives and logarithmic analytics.. i would have to retake that test..

12/5/24 : first assignment => completed, scanned and uploaded ✅ 

19/5/24 : Done till probability and almost all distributions, respective curves with their equations as of today. So yeah.. gotta hail and hurray all my math teachers till date who believed those last units towards the end of those lengthy textbooks to be the tail end and omitted or wrapped up in one or two sessions during school and college days..clearly those units turns out to be the tail end!! Or did I mean tail event.. ✌️🤐

After almost 17 hours of continuous work on assignment 2, finally docs are scanned and uploaded. ✅

(I know I gotta stop recording this, but so satisfying considering how i messed up my first unit . Just gotta keep this momentum going on like last year..🤞🙏)

26/5/24 : With Graph theory wrapped up today, second unit is completed. I have a few mock tests to attend today, one more assignment to submit, and a unit test to attend in coming weeks but so far so good. And thank you God 🙏

2/6/24 : Okay. So do you know on probability, second derivatives of prob. multi dimen. function can be converted into a matrix, further on., that Matrix can be plotted into a graph. Well there goes, sets, functions, statistics, probability, calculus and graph theory and how they all are interlinked. Literally, the master class from uni., master class it was. And assignment is almost done too.. so let's just yayy for the 60% er for now.. yayy!!

8/6/24 8:56pm : wow I woke up at 4 am today. That was one heck of a study time till now. I don't recall being this studious even in college and I topped my dept. there. But one thing I know is that I don't think I am even anywhere near that usual confidence level to attend the test tomo. It's too much and clearly it is not easy to do MS alongside full time work and every other daily chores. Gods just be on my side..from the way 2nd mock test looked I could do with some magic, charm, luck or whatsoever 🙏 plz plz plz..🤞

9/6/24 6:47pm : I'm just done with mock test 3. Well clarity is power they say, well it is..isn't it. Onto mains.. 🙏🤞

10:49 pm : exam completed, webcam off, scanned docs and uploaded

I am not entirely satisfied because I know I could have done more and better esp with the assignments but let's see.

This is a unit to remember and a reminder on how to keep this momentum going. I need this, that much I know. So yeah I don't have to go on and on about what all I do on each day anymore now that I have learnt how to go ahead with the rest of the modules. Let God's will prevail 🙏 but be on my side..plz Gods 🙏..wont deny there is a slight gratification today though..

A day to remember and breathe too!!

11/6/24 8:46pm - On requesting I got another opportunity to resubmit assignment 3 at a penalty. Scanned and uploaded docs now. It's better than last report for sure..so yeah rest can be dealt with later. But let's see 🤞😀
